Erster Stop 2025: Jahresrückblick

Jeder Jahresrückblick beginnt eigentlich mit „Uff, ist das schnell vorbeigegangen?“ Aber dieses Jahr stimmt es wirklich – anscheinend verging das Jahr sogar so schnell, dass ich gar keinen Blogeintrag 2025 geschrieben habe und somit kommt hier direkt als erster Eintrag 2025 der fotografische Jahresrückblick.
2025 habe ich 33 Filme verschossen – deutlich weniger als letztes Jahr und vielleicht liegt ja schon hier der Fehler. Wenn analoge Fotografie entschleunigend ist, hätte ich einfach noch mehr Film schießen müssen, um mehr vom Jahr zu haben?
Dabei fing es eigentlich gut an. Anfang 2025 habe ich dank der Toolbox von Inspiralab mit neuen Techniken, wie beabsichtigter langer Belichtungszeit und Freelensing experimentiert. Dabei nimmt man das Objektiv von der Kamera, hält es falsch herum lose vor die Kamera und sieht beim Fotografieren so aus, als würde man überhaupt keinen Plan haben. Das Ergebnis ist ein verschwommenes, macroartiges Bild, was ich eigentlich ganz spannend fand. Außerdem habe ich an zwei Foto-Challenges meines local Labs mitgemacht, die mich herausgefordert haben, weil man zu einem bestimmten Thema fotografieren musste – das war ein klein wenig anstrengender als gedacht, aber eine sehr interessante Erfahrung.
Aber natürlich habe ich mich auch altbewährt durch meine Umgebung durch-doppeltbelichtet und den ein oder anderen Prismen-Filter mit mir rumgeschleppt.
Ich habe an einem Porträt-Workshop und an vielen Foto-Walks teilgenommen und mit befreundeten Fotografen einen schönen Ausflug in das Atelier der bewundernswerten Künstlerin Laetitia Heisler gemacht. Außerdem durfte ich für Lomography.de den redscale Film testen.
Manchmal war ich aber auch einfach faul und habe zum Fotografieren noch nicht einmal das Haus verlassen.
So schlimm war’s also doch nicht. Ich wünsche euch allen einen guten Start ins neue Jahr mit viel Zeit für eure kreative Seite und macht mehr Fotos, auch von den kleinen Momenten, um das Jahr noch mehr auszukosten!
First stop in 2025: Review of the year
Every recap seems to begin with ‘Wow, did that go by quickly?’ But this year it’s really true – apparently the year went by so quickly that I didn’t even write a blog entry for 2025. So, let´s skip right to the photographic review of the year as the first entry of 2025 🙂
In 2025, I shot 33 films – significantly less than last year, and perhaps that’s where I went wrong. If analogue photography has a slowing effect, should I have simply shot more film to get more out of the year?
It actually started off well. In 2025, thanks to Inspiralab’s toolbox, I experimented with new techniques such as intentional extended exposure time and freelensing. To do this, remove the lens from the camera, hold it the other way round loosely in front of the camera and look as if you have no clue what you are doing. But the result is a dreamy, blurry macro effect that I really liked. I also took part in two photo challenges organised by my local lab, which literally challenged me because I had to take photos on a specific theme – it was a demanding but interesting experience.
But of course, I also stuck to my tried-and-tested methods, doing a lot of double exposures and carrying around one or two prism filters with me.
I took part in a portrait workshop and many photo walks and went on a wonderful trip with some photographer friends to the studio of the admirable artist Laetitia Heisler (Check out her work if you don´t know her yet!). I also had the opportunity to test redscale film for Lomography.de.
Sometimes, however, I was simply lazy and didn’t even leave the house to take photographs.
So it wasn’t that bad after all. I wish you all a great start to the new year with plenty of time for your creative side and please take more photos – even of the little moments, to savour the year even more.
